MAN GREATEST FLAW

Sin is what makes us human It robs us of our perfection It darkens our inner glow and prevent us from connecting with our God  Everyone struggles with sin, its a curse we've inherited  It's Satans ultimate weapon, that he uses to draw us in and enslave us Sin can keep you longer than you want to stay,   take you further than you want to go  and make you pay more than your cost, sin can be alluring, seductive and cloak in good intentions, I could have been like my father, shinning in all his glory up there in the heavenly realm but sin came in and stole my birthright,  How I look forward to the day I will finally break free from sin and reunite with my father

HOW I SEE NIGERIA

Here I am at this very moment taking in all of the beauty that Nigeria has provided us with, the beauty that is concealed in all of the rush and pandemonium, if we could just stop for a moment and view Nigeria from above we will see that she is truly amazing, she is a country that weave together people of diverse culture, a land that is smiled upon by nature, and filled with people that has great and innovative ideas and the will to bring them  to life,  But the truth is you can hardly see her beauty now because her eyes are clouded by the smoke of corruption and her heart darken with greed. Her morals are diluted,  her beliefs are exploited, Her children are suffering...

LIVING WITH THE END IN MIND

They say we leave this world just the way we came into it Naked and alone. So if we do leave with nothing, what then is the measure of a life? Is it define by the people we choose to love? Or is life simply measured by our accomplishments? What if we fail or we are never truly loved? What then? Can we measure up? I can't say I have all the answers but this much I know. I know that from the moment we are born into this world our clock start ticking We start measuring our life from the moment we are able to distinguish Good from evil, We shape our lives by the decisions we take, and by the company we keep. Somebody said that the choices we make, make us, failure or success is a choice So if we live our lives knowing that we can't take anything with us when we die I will advice that we should learn to do good We should learn to show love, it's free. We should try to put smile on people's faces or help dry their tears We should learn to give our t

MY WORDS AND I

When am happy they become my Melody, When am sad, they lead me to my diary My words are my companion they follow me wherever I go, They are my inner glow They are like food to my soul They are my building blocks When am on the ladder of words, I can see the whole world I thought I can change the world with them but somehow I  ended up changing myself and that's ok, for a man to move a mountain he must first learn how to move himself So I learn to always speak well firstly to myself and then to others And in so doing am shaping the world I want my children to grow in with enriching words let your word build up and not break down let it be calm and soothing let it be wise © Emurotu Akpowevwe Roy

THE JOURNEY OF PURPOSE DISCOVERY

In this journey of purpose discovery, there are lots of things we need to do There are lots of mistakes we will make, and lots of lessons to learn from them There are lots of questions we need to ask and lots of  decisions we need to take, There may be some bridges we need to burn, and some people we need to cut off There are times we need to yield to the fact that we can't do it all alone, and accept that some things are beyond our control But most importantly, there are times we need to close our door to the outside world and commune with our God

IT'S DECEMBER AGAIN AND NOTHING HAS CHANGE

It's December again, and nothing has change One more year came and now it's gone yet things still remains the same My hopes and dreams were turned into nightmares When I tried moving forward regret calls me back to see the mistakes I have made I didn't plan for it to end this way, the thought of things I never push myself to do are now keeping me awake So I stay up most night, and sometimes I can catch glimpses of myself fading away, There it goes, I can still hear the whispers from the road I never traveled, it says now you will never know And now it's December again, and things are still the same, one more year came and now it's gone, still nothing has change
